Produce and CSA Subscriptions

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. At the begining of the growing season, you sign an agreement with a local farmer that for a set fee, you will get a weekly share of the harvest. You get fresh, locally grown produce that is in season. Not a tasteless product that was picked before it was ripe and then shipped thousands of miles. You know where your food comes from and how it was grown.

More About Ber-Gust Farms CSA Program

CSA Share

All-natural fruits and vegetables, including green beans, cabbage, egg plant, sweet corn, garlic, peppers, squash, onions, cucumbers and melons. Special treats included such as cut flowers and jams and jellies. Our shares will give you enough to feed a family of 4 and still have some to process for winter time enjoyment. A full share is $25 per week and half shares are available for $15 a week.

Some CSAs require that you pay the entire fee at the beginning of the growing season. Ber-Gust does not require this. CSA members can pay on a weekly basis. Starting this year, we are accepting credit and debit card payments! The CSA typically runs from June through the end of October. Members can pick their shares up at the Lima Farmer's Market or at the farm.
